Indigo Children

 

Most people with the life color indigo are children who have been born since 1989.  They are different from any prior generation of children and do not respond to ways of parenting that were used in previous generations, such as guilt-inducing tactics, and can baffle their parents. 

 

These Indigo children are system busters and seek to change systems that they view as lacking integrity, such as religion, government and education.  These strong-willed, outspoken, forthright, fearless and independent children have a highly evolved sense of self.  They become bored easily and frustrated with outmoded systems. They want and expect to be treated with respect and total honesty and see themselves as equals to older children and adults.  Most display high intelligence in at least one area and exhibit unusual wisdom for their age.  They can be misdiagnosed as ADHD or ADD. 

 

The spiritual Indigo child can have fully integrated masculine and feminine sides, and are non-judgmental of others’ gender or sexual orientation.  Indigos are very old souls and are here to initiate a new age of peace and harmony, and be living examples of a higher awareness.  Heidi has an Indigo child herself and has intimate knowledge of the challenges and joys to raising these unique and marvelous children.

 

Crystal Children

 

The newest “generation” of psychic and sensitive children is Crystal children, also known as star children. These affectionate, loving, forgiving, empathetic, joyful, magnetic, musical, artistic, and creative children have been arriving mostly since 1995.  They are quiet and even-tempered, as well as born healers.  Because they have the ability to communicate with telepathy, they can be late talkers and can be misdiagnosed with autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.  They are deeply connected to nature and animals, are drawn to rocks and crystals, and require solitude and time with nature to clear their auras of what they take on from others.   Because of their sensitivity and highly discerning nature, they can have difficulty sleeping and be considered “picky” eaters.

 

Heidi enjoys working with both Indigo and Crystal children as individuals in whatever their energetic needs are, whether balancing, clearing, grounding or shielding.  These often misunderstood, psychic and intuitive children give her the lead in what they need, even before they are born.  They both have important purposes in life, and it is exciting for Heidi to work with these new children who many believe are a step in human evolution.  In addition to the books found at the hyperlinks on this web page for Indigo and Crystal children, another excellent resource for raising these children is the magazine Children of the New Earth.
